Terms of Use – Klytic Docs

Version dated September 29, 2026

1. Purpose

These Terms of Use define the specific conditions for using the Klytic Docs service. They supplement the Provider's General Terms and Conditions.

2. Professional and lawful use

Klytic Docs is intended for managing, storing, sharing, and collaborating on documents and files in a professional context.

The Client is specifically prohibited from using the service to:

- store or distribute unlawful content;
- infringe third-party intellectual property rights;
- distribute malicious content or content intended to compromise a system;
- make data publicly available without the necessary rights;
- use the service to host fraudulent activity or activity contrary to regulations;
- circumvent security mechanisms or access restrictions;
- use the service as a mass distribution infrastructure not covered by the subscribed plan.

The Client is responsible for the data and documents it stores, shares, or makes accessible through the service.

3. User and rights management

The Client is responsible for creating, administering, and deleting user accounts.

It is the Client's responsibility to define access rights appropriate to each user's needs and to limit access to only the data necessary for performing their duties.

The Client must promptly delete or deactivate accounts for individuals who are no longer authorized to access the service.

Sharing links and external access must be used with discretion. The Client is responsible for the consequences of sharing performed by its users with unauthorized persons.

4. Credentials and security

Credentials, passwords, recovery codes, keys, and other authentication secrets are confidential and must never be disclosed to unauthorized third parties.

Users must not share their accounts.

Any compromise or suspected compromise must be reported to the Provider without delay and must lead, where possible, to modification or revocation of the affected authentication credentials.

Multi-factor authentication must be enabled when available, particularly for accounts with administrative privileges.

The Client must also secure the devices used to access the service.

5. Storage capacity

The Client selects the storage volume corresponding to its needs.

It is the Client's responsibility to regularly assess the evolution of its needs and to request any necessary capacity increase sufficiently in advance.

The Provider cannot be held responsible for consequences resulting from insufficient capacity selected or maintained by the Client.

Conversely, unnecessarily large capacity remains billed according to the subscribed terms until modified.

Any capacity reduction requires technical intervention by the Provider and is subject to a prior quote.

Capacity reduction can only be performed if the volume actually used and technical constraints permit such reduction.

6. Resources and performance

For dedicated instances and dedicated servers, resources are estimated based in particular on the number of users declared at subscription.

This estimate constitutes a sizing baseline and does not guarantee that resources will be sufficient for all uses or future developments.

A large number of external users, particularly intensive use, a large volume of documents, or any other exceptional load may require increased resources.

This increase may be subject to a supplementary quote.

Certain particularly resource-intensive features or operations, notably indexing a large volume of documents, may also require a specific service or adaptation billed on quote.

7. Sharing and external access

The Client is responsible for data made accessible to external users.

It must regularly review access rights and remove sharing that has become unnecessary.

The Client must specifically avoid making documents containing confidential, personal, or sensitive information publicly available when such distribution is not necessary and authorized.

8. Client responsibility

The Client remains responsible for:

- the content of stored documents;
- the rights it grants to users;
- internal and external sharing;
- compliance of data processing it performs;
- retention of documents it must archive;
- implementation of additional backup measures when its activity requires it.

9. Security and suspension

The Provider may take necessary measures when an account, file, sharing, or behavior presents a risk to the security of the service or third parties.

These measures may include temporary deactivation of an account, sharing, or feature.

10. Data and reversibility

Conditions relating to personal data protection, backup, reversibility, and data deletion are defined in the General Terms and Conditions and, where applicable, in the applicable DPA.

11. Acceptance

Subscription to Klytic Docs constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Use.
